    Sailor 2025 is a program focused on three core pillars – Personnel System Modernization; Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL); and Career Readiness.  The second pillar,  Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) deals primarily with doing away with the old way of brick and mortar schoolhouses, or industrial age training, and replacing the curriculum with career-long learning continuums where training is delivered by modern methods to enable faster learning, better knowledge retention, and delivery at the right time and in the right way for our Sailors.  This job opportunity’s objective is the creation and delivery of products in support of the Sailor 2025 (S2025) Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion Wave 1 effort.


    Configuration Management Specialist: 

    • Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates. 
    • Performs various audits and documents results.
    • Supports configuration planning.
    • Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration.
    • Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. Supports configuration planning.
    • Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
    • Performs configuration management for all program related artifacts to include deliverables, source files, reports, and all related documentation. 
    • Develops configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements. 
    • Participates in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, etc. 
    • Identifies requirements and participates in the development and implementation of computer based configuration/data management systems and related support. 
    • Support Program Manager in the administration of the Online Management System (OMS) and data library.



    • BA/BS


    • 2+ years of experience
    • Must have at least 2 years of configuration management experience. Configuration management support for training programs highly desired.
