  • Job Description

    General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for an Oracle Developer to lead, analyze, design, develop, implement, and support code development. The individual will work under limited supervision and perform additional duties as assigned to include, but not limited to:

    • Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to fulfillment, supply chain planning
    • Designs, develops, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing
    • Researches and integrates design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities
    • Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations
    • Lead and participate in highly complex projects with customers, managers, end-users and GDIT team

    Education

    Education:

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline required

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 8-10 years of related software development experience
    • 5 or more years of experience with analyzing, designing, developing, coding, testing, and implementing Java / Web applications
    • 5 or more years of experience with analyzing, designing, developing, coding, testing, and implementing ORACLE PL/SQL objects, such as packages, procedures and functions, etc.
    • Linux experience, including batch scripting
    • Familiar with Agile
    • Able to code / debug HTML and JAVA files
    • Able to code / debug ORACLE objects, such as packages, procedures, functions, triggers
    • Able to code / debug LINUX batch scripts
    • Experience and general understanding of Data modeling, Entity Relationship, Use Case etc.
    • Adhere to full software development lifecycle
    • Analyze business requirements /functional specification
    • Prepare and Execute Unit Test Plan and Unit Test Case
    • Familiar with Oracle Fusion 12
