Provide leadership, guidance, and assistance to the Fed/Civ Division concerning government accounting matters.
Manage the interpretation and application of government regulations.
Assist in guiding the preparation and maintenance of CAS Disclosure Statements.
Manage and coordinate various aspects of the development of Forward pricing rates, Incurred cost submissions, cost impacts resulting from accounting changes, Advance agreements, as appropriate.
Support the Division in the implementation of strategic realignments or new structures as initiated by management.
Maintain government compliance awareness within the Fed/Civ Division through company-sponsored training or other internal communications.
Oversee the development and execution of government compliance strategies that support business unit success including formulating indirect cost allocation structures, direct/ indirect charging practices, and contract pricing procedures.
Develop a working relationship with the government customer (Procuring Agencies, DCMA and DCAA) that includes interfacing with government contracting representatives and auditors on financial system audits, CAS compliance matters, and other government inquiries.
Analyze DCMA and DCAA observations, recommendations and allegations of non-compliance, provide counsel on the preparation of detailed written responses supported by the procurement regulations, and negotiate resolution of compliance matters.
Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
8-10 years of related finance or business analysis experience, including supervisory experience.
Candidate must be a well rounded candidate capable of strategic thinking, driving day-to-day business and providing thought leadership in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment. The position requires:
1. Working with the senior leadership team in the development of business and operational strategies and functional personnel to convert strategies in to day-to-day operations;
2. Supporting the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures that implement strategies and establish compliance with applicable regulations;
3. Providing training at all levels to promote a common understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and operating policies and procedures; and
4. Interfacing with various organizations including information technology professionals to ensure strategic and regulatory requirements are integrated into system operations
Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related business discipline. Master's Degree a plus.
