General Dynamics IT has an immediate opening for a Meteorological and Oceanographic Requirements Analyst in Suffolk, Virginia
Seeking a motivated and energetic Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) subject matter expert to join our superb team of requirements professionals. We want a dedicated individual who wants to excel and help develop the Navy’s next generation of METOC requirements in support of the NAVIFOR N8 Staff.
The candidate will identify METOC Battle Space Awareness-related capability gaps, analyzing threats and courses of action and developing solutions to effectively counter current and future threats.
Successful candidate must be able to obtain and retain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Functional Responsibilities and Tasks:
Master’s Degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
15-20 years of directly related U.S. Navy and METOC experience.
