    TRAINING ASSISTANT

     

    Supports training program activities by setting up classrooms, clerical tasks to support trainers, data entry and record maintenance, maintaining workstations, related equipment and systems.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ***Candidates should live within commuting distance of the workplace location. These are 2-4 month positions that have the possibility of being extended.***

     

    • Assists training program staff in ensuring that classrooms and equipment are accessible, operational, and available at all times.
    • Assist with daily tasks to open and run training classes.
    • Maintains and secures classrooms and related equipment.
    • Interacts with program support staff and trainees to coordinate classroom schedules, student registration, activities calendar, and other tasks as required.
    • Maintains training records and prepares reports as needed.
    • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
    • Participates in special projects as required.

     

     

    Education

    •  Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Associates Degree preferred

    Qualifications

     

    • 1-3 years of related experience supporting training activities.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience and education specific to work in professional office environments.
    • Experience with web-based learning, development and/or evaluation of training curriculums.

    HIGHLY DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience working in independent, fast-paced settings
    • Experience with organizing high volume work flow
