General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opening for a Mission Planner to join our Operations team. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge equipment and systems that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. The Mission Planner is a 27x7 operator position that performs help desk duties and monitors services scheduled by users within an automated planning and scheduling system and serves as the first line of support to our system users. Tasks include monitoring status of initiated services, rescheduling as necessary for interrupted services, and assisting with service setup and execution.
Duties and Tasks:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
5-8 years of related systems engineering experience with reporting, business intelligence technologies.
TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
