Job Description

General Dynamics IT is currently looking for an experienced Strategic Communication Manager to join our team to support the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Offices in Fort Detrick, MD. 


You will have a key role utilizing your expert knowledge in delivering excellent communication support to our client.

  • Responsible for the implementation of IAs, Voluntary Incentive Pricing Agreements (VIPA), or other pricing instruments, provide implementation instructions to vendors, and coordinate the signing of IAs between vendors and the DHA MEDLOG Division.
  • Serves as a point of reference for all marketing and communication activities and strategies in support of the MMESOs.
  • Responsible for implementing marketing campaigns and developing materiel to help the MMESOs achieve an understanding and clear vision for its standardized products, processes, and methodologies.
  • Transmit marketing campaign material transmitted via e- mail communication, direct mail, brochures, the Organization's website, advertisements and other marketing communication vehicles to convey the MMESO's enterprise initiative.
  • Works closely with the DHA MEDLOG Division IT team to establish, coordinate, and manage the DHA MEDLOG Division website to ensure content continuity.


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Management or other related technical area.


  • 5+ years of experience and should have a strong understanding of the DoD MHS enterprise.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to include writing and editing.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure implementation team work.
