Job Description

General Dynamics IT is currently looking for an experienced Senior Clinical Analyst to join our team to support the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Offices in Fort Detrick, MD. 


You will have a key role utilizing your expertise in providing leadership and coordination of the MMESO Clinical Analysts to facilitate the timely and effective completion of Standardization Program deliverables.


  • Serve as a liaison and clinical resource between Government personnel, industry vendors, and contractor staff.
  • Supports the MMESO effort and the Project Manager and Program Manager in continuing to develop templates, formats, and processes to improve and standardize the enterprise wide standardization effort.
  • Provides input for continuous process improvement.
  • Participates and provides clinical oversight, in document revision/editing as required by DHA MEDLOG, DLA troop support, and the project manager.
  • Develops and improves evaluation tools and instructions used by the enterprise wide standardization teams to assist in successfully completing the product evaluation process.
  • Develops reference tools and collaborative processes to increase efficiency and consistency in the Clinical Analysis process.
  • Collaborates with the Senior Data Analyst to provide input as related to clinical product equivalencies and capabilities analysis and will assist in developing and/or adapting industry best clinical and business practices to improve the quality of the delivered standardization action work product.
  • Supports the DHA MEDLOG Designated Senior Clinician/Alternate COR.
  • Coordinates and facilitate the Clinical Working Group meetings and efforts.
  • Participates in special projects as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other related clinical discipline is required.
  • Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • Current and unencumbered license.


  • 5+ years of experience in clinical practice.
  • Specialized experience shall be in information systems development, functional and data collection, analysis, requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, program design, documentation preparation and/or nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of healthcare standardization and business re-engineering of medical healthcare systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of the DoD MHS enterprise including, but not limited to, the operational environment is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain/Logistics operations, preferable in the healthcare environment, is also highly desirable.
