**Position requires a Secret Security Clearance**
The Office Assistant position performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the In-Service Engineering Agent, providing direct support to the customer on-site. The successful candidate must project a professional appearance and attitude.
Specific tasks may include:
Draft, proofread, edit and coordinate correspondence including official Naval Messages
Maintain a schedule of appointments for a manager or office
Greet and escort visitors
Maintain tracking records and filing systems; archive files
Maintain, update and serve as focal point for databases or spreadsheets
Perform research and retrieve information from databases and other resources
Assist in planning, scheduling, organizing, and execution of meetings, events, conferences, and off-sites
Participate in meetings and events: may serve as recorder
Prepare access rosters and coordinate site-specific visit requests through the Security office
Assist in ordering supplies and equipment
Recommend innovative processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the office
Compose written communication in response to complex customer queries
Prepare routine status reports and track office-related metrics
Assist in maintaining inventories, records, and receipts
***Must possess and be able to retain a Secret Security Clearance***
1. Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
2. Associates Degree preferred.
3-5 years of related administrative experience.
