Job Description

Serves as a Logistics liaison for the department and the shop fabrication, technicians and installation team workers.

  • Maintains inventory (GFM, parts, consumables and tools).
  • Issues and maintains record logs.
  • Performs loading and unloading trucks, material handling and packing of parts / staged components for shipping.
  • Schedules freight shipments along with all related forms and logs on computer.
  • Procures, requests and tracks all consumables, material, and tooling.
  • Sources and obtains estimates on material and consumables.  
  • Communicate with team/customers order status of material.
  • Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
  • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • Work may involve packing and repacking a variety of items such as industrial and general parts, components, equipment, and other items including printed forms and publications that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.  Packing may be for shipment or storage.
  • Responsible for the preparation of documents either manually or by using automated equipment such as computer terminals and bar code wands to read, store, track, and prepare materials documentation.
  • As required, personnel assist with conducting inventories of material and equipment.


















  1. Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel.




  1. 3-5 years of related warehouse experience.
  2. Active Security Clearance.
  3. Forklift Certified.
  4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, squat, and reach for warehoused material.
  5. Candidate must be able to wear safety hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and other Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  6. Organized and detail oriented.


****Military Receiving and Shipping experience a plus but not required.
