Job Description

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s).




At this level, the position is typically responsible for supervising up to 15 employees ' both exempt and non-exempt - working on a single project or task. Technical difficulty/complexity of assigned task/project may also affect level selection. 

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Supervises assigned staff.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned task(s).
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Responsible for the execution of the CONOPS and proper collaboration amongst the teams.
  • Ensure that each team functions within their responsibility and resolves issues between the teams to ensure effective operations. 
  • Responsible for identifying gaps in capability within the organization and working with cell leads to identify a solution.
  • Ensures that proper staffing is maintained across all cells.
  • Responsible for maintaining schedules and ensuring changes to those schedules are properly communicated throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for conducting pre-coordination and making arrangement for computer/system accesses prior and after personnel arrival; maintain records of all personnel ongoing accesses.
  • Required to ensure that team members continue to stay relevant with current industry standards, best practices, and trends.
  • Create opportunities for learning, and ensure team members receive proper training.


Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


5-8 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics
  • Minimum 10 years’ of progressively responsible experience performing software and malware reverse engineering, forensics investigations, cyber security incident response
  • Minimum of 5 years’ of experience specifically conducting software and malware reverse engineering investigations
  • Strong understanding of the incident response process;
  • Understanding of the lifecycle of network attacks
