General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a full-time The Clinical Research Assistant with traumatic brain injury experience to join the DVBIC team. DVBIC is the traumatic brain injury (TBI) operational component of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE). Founded in 1992 by Congress, DVBIC’s responsibilities have grown as its network of care and treatment sites has grown.
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for assisting with the performance of clinical investigation projects in a clinical setting, including recruitment of potential study subjects, collection and organization of data, scheduling patients for follow up appointments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow detailed instructions required. Excellent communication and analytical skills required. S/he must adhere to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy.
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Human Subjects training required.
0-2 years’ experience in research/clinical investigations/studies required. Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care strongly preferred
