Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology has an opportunity for an Incident Response Coordinator to respond to crisis or urgent situations within the pertinent domain to mitigate immediate and potential threats. Uses mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery approaches, as needed, to maximize survival of life, preservation of property, and information security.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate response action to identifies threats and incidents
  • Analyze operational anomalies, network behavior and performs mitigation actions derived from cyber threat monitoring and anomaly analysis, and actively monitors the Department’s network for cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities Intrusion Analysis and Reporting
  • Incident Response Team Dispatch
  • Problem Correction Coordination
  • Incident Closures
  • Level III IDS/IPS Ticket Response
  • Incident Investigation Procedures Maintenance
  • Notification Procedures Management
  • Case Management and Reporting
  • NOC/CIC Technical Support
  • Impact Analysis
  • Issue Resolution
  • Operational Incident Response
  • Recovery Support
  • Support for Cybersecurity Incident Response Remediation
  • Operational Incident Response
  • Recovery Support
  • Support for Cybersecurity Incident Response Remediation

Education

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security
  • Masters Degree, preferred

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience in a professional or management capacity with a knowledge of regulatory requirements and the Incident Management Bulletin

 

CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)

  • CISSP
  • GCIH
  • GPEN
